BES Lecture Award

The Belgian Endocrine Society Lecture Award is an annual prize intended to reward original research in the field of endocrinology and/or metabolism. The jury is constituted of the BES board members.

The awardee will deliver an approximately 20-minute presentation at the annual society meeting.

Prize: 4,000 EUR — Sponsored by Novo Nordisk

Applications must be submitted before June 30, 2026.

Regulations

Conditions

• The applicant must hold a diploma in Medicine or Sciences.
• The work must have been carried out entirely or substantially in Belgium.
• The age of the applicant may not exceed 45 years on December 31st of the year of application.
• The applicant need not necessarily be a member of the BES, but must be sponsored by a member of the society.

Submission requirements

• Curriculum vitae
• Complete publication list with H-index
• Impact factor for the 5 most significant publications (first and/or last author)
• A summary of the research in English (2–3 pages)
