Young Investigator Awards

The Young Investigators Awards are supported by Pfizer. The jury is constituted of the BES board members.

Applications must be submitted before June 30, 2026.

Regulations

Section 1 — Communications by young researchers

4 short presentations will be selected (10 minutes + 5 minutes discussion). Each presenter receives 500 EUR.

Conditions

• Submit a CV with date of birth, year of degree, and university.
• The age of the applicant may not exceed 40 years on December 31st of the year of application.
• Non-BES members must be sponsored by a BES member.
• Submit an abstract in English (max 1 page, max 450 words).

Section 2 — Short communications by endocrinology trainees

Clinical case reports with at least 2 authors (candidate as first author + supervisor). 2 presentations are selected, each presenter receives 400 EUR.

Conditions

• The report should be max 600 words, with max 5 references, 1 table or figure, and max 2 pages.
